According to reports provided by the Egg Harbor Township Police Department, a 17-year-old was driving a 2008 Mercedes-Benz S550 eastbound on Delilah Road. At the same time, a 2012 GMC Acadia was traveling through the intersection of Canale Drive. The impact of the crash sent the Mercedes down the roadway, where it collided with a 2023 Chevrolet Traverse, which 46-year-old Ayanna Wayner drove. The Chevrolet approximately was ejected approximately 50 yards down the road before coming to a rest. Mercedes-Benz came to rest against the utility pole. The Acadia came to rest, blocking the westbound side of Delilah Road.
The occupants of the Acadia in the Mercedes had to be extricated from their vehicles by area firefighters.

The incident is being investigated by the Egg Harbor Township Police Department at this time.
We hope the injured victims are able to recover quickly. Our thoughts are with them at this time.
