Brandon A. Granda, Esq.

Brandon A. Granda is a civil litigation attorney who focuses his practice on personal injury and complex litigation matters throughout the State of New Jersey. He joined Garces, Grabler & LeBrocq, P.C., in 2020 and practices in our Firm’s Hackensack, New Jersey office where he primarily litigates in Bergan, Passaic, and Morris Counties. Mr. Granda specializes in handling a variety of personal injury matters including automobile accidents, slip and falls, truck accidents, dog bites, pedestrian accidents, product liability matters, and wrongful death matters. In addition, Mr. Granda has significant experience in handling commercial litigation matters involving contract disputes, commercial and residential landlord tenant matters, and employment disputes. He is sensitive to the needs of his clients and works closely with them to understand their goals and develop strategies that will bring about opportunities for success.

Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Granda focused his practice on insurance defense law where he successfully defended insurance carriers on a variety of general liability matters. Mr. Granda brings his background in insurance defense to develop litigation strategies designed to secure the best possible outcomes on behalf of his clients. He is a vigorous advocate that actively pursues his client’s legal rights throughout all stages of the legal process with an adept understanding of the complexities involved in a personal injury action.

Most cases are settled or otherwise resolved well before the matter is ever submitted to a jury. In this respect, Mr. Granda is a highly experienced negotiator that assesses the risk and rewards associated with all steps of the negotiation process. He works closely with his clients to secure a just resolution of their matters.

Mr. Granda earned his Juris Doctorate from Seton Hall University School of Law. While in law school, Mr. Granda was an associate editor for the Seton Hall Circuit Review, a student attorney in the Juvenile Justice Center, and a finalist in both the Eugene Gressman and Ronald J. Ricco Moot Court Competitions. Mr. Granda also served as a judicial intern for The Honorable Michael A. Shipp in the United States District Court of New Jersey, The Honorable Alberto Rivas, in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Middlesex County, Criminal Division, and The Honorable Dennis F. Carey, III, in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Essex County, Civil Division.

Prior to entering the practice of law, Mr. Granda was a judicial law clerk to The Honorable Bruno Mongiardo, in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Passaic County, Law Division. He also became a member of the Justice Robert L. Clifford Inn of Court and continues to be an active member.
Mr. Granda is a New Jersey native who maintains close ties with his community and is fluent in Spanish. He came from humble beginnings growing up as a first generation American to Ecuadorian parents. To give back to his community, Mr. Granda dedicates his free time during the summers to mentor prospective law students with economically disadvantaged backgrounds by serving as a moot court judge for the Seton Hall Law Summer Institute of Pre-Legal Studies Program.
