Ewing Township, NJ (January 29, 2023) – A 60-year-old man has died as a result of a pedestrian crash that took place in Ewing Township. On January 25, the Ewing Police Department responded to the scene of a traffic crash that occurred on Pennington Road.
Preliminary reports show that just after 5:45 p.m., 60-year-old Michael Roche was walking in the area of Pennington Road and Somerset Street.
For unknown reasons, a single vehicle traveling through the area struck the pedestrian.
Roche was transported to The Trauma Center at Capital Health Regional Medical Center, where he later passed away from his injuries.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation by the Ewing Township Police Department and the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office.
