Car Accidents in New Jersey
Every year, a significant number of people in New Jersey suffer injuries in car accidents. Many of these accidents are a result of driver negligence, with speeding, distractions, and impairment being common contributing factors. Unfortunately, any act of negligence can lead to a serious accident that completely changes the lives of those involved.
Car crash victims are often forced to deal with various types of serious injuries. Common injuries reported in automobile accidents that we see here in the Garden State include broken ribs, internal organ injuries, and even traumatic brain injuries, which can be extremely painful and require extensive recovery time.
The unfortunate truth is that the physical, emotional, and financial toll on victims can be overwhelming. However, following an accident, there may be legal options available to help you move forward.
A car accident lawyer in Newark can assist you in seeking financial compensation for your losses and damages. Victims of automobile accidents may be entitled to recover medical expenses, long-term care costs, and more. To get this compensation, it is necessary to prove negligence caused the accident. This involves establishing the four elements of duty, breach, causation, and damages in a personal injury lawsuit. An attorney will guide you through this process, gathering evidence to prove the defendant's negligence so you can obtain the compensation you deserve.
