Manville, NJ – Three Hurt in Crash on N Main St near Dukes Parkway E

Manville, NJ (August 26, 2023) – Three people were transported to area hospitals with injuries following an accident that occurred on Friday afternoon in the Manville area.

At around 1:27 p.m. on August 25, a Honda Pilot, a Chevrolet Traverse, and a Mercedes collided at the intersection of North Main Street and Dukes Parkway East. The incident prompted the Manville Fire Department and the Finderne Fire Department to respond.

Multiple people became trapped inside their vehicles and had to be extricated by firefighters.

The drivers of all three vehicles were severely hurt in the crash. One of the victims was airlifted by a North Star helicopter and flown to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, New Jersey, for emergency care. Two additional victims were transported to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Somerset in Somerville, New Jersey.

The crash is under investigation by the Somerset County Accident Response Team(CART) at this time.
