Car Accidents in New Jersey
Each year, tens of thousands of victims across the state of New Jersey are left with debilitating injuries following motor vehicle accidents. Although most drivers enter the roads with good intentions, there are many people who take control of their vehicles while engaging in reckless and negligent behaviors. Statistics show that more than 94% of vehicle collisions across the country are a result of driver error. Some of the most common causes of collisions that we see in our state include drivers who:
- Drive while under the influence of drugs or alcohol
- Disregard traffic control devices
- Drive aggressively
- Travel at high rates of speed
- Drive while distracted by cellphones and other objects
- Engage in reckless driving behaviors
When victims are harmed in collisions as a result of other drivers, it is crucial that they seek legal guidance from a qualified and knowledgeable Manville car accident lawyer as soon as possible. In some cases, victims may be entitled to compensation to help alleviate the costs of medical care, lost earnings/wages, and various economic and non-economic expenses they face moving forward.
