Fair Lawn, NJ (May 6, 2023) – A motorcyclist died as a result of a crash that took place in the Fair Lawn area on Friday evening, May 5.
Official reports show that at around 9:00 p.m., a man was at the Craftsman restaurant with an unknown number of people when he decided to take a motorcycle that belonged to one of his friends.
As the motorcyclist entered the roadway, he collided with an SUV at the intersection of Maple Avenue and Weber Place.
The motorcyclist was fatally injured in the crash. They were pronounced deceased at the scene.
A second victim suffered injuries as a result of the accident. The victim was transported to a hospital for medical care.
Investigations into the accident are underway by the Bergen County Prosecutor's Fatal Accident Investigations Unit and the Fair Lawn Police Department.
