Upon graduation from law school, she served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Lawrence Weiss, J.S.C., in the Union County Superior Court. As a law clerk she wrote several opinions, one of which was published in the In Re Toxic Torts cases. In 1992 she was admitted to the New Jersey and the United States District Court bars.

Notably, Mrs. Sieira-Alvarez has been litigating an international child custody/abduction case involving a member country of the Hague Convention.
A lifelong resident of this state and a member of the Union County and New Jersey State Bar Associations, Mrs. Sieira-Alvarez serves the legal needs of her community. While her roots are in Union County, she practices extensively throughout the northern and southern parts of the state.
