Roberto Antonio Reverón

Michele LabradaRoberto Antonio Reverón was born in Bronx, NY, and lived his first seven years in NYC (Bronx and Queens). His family moved to Carolina, Puerto Rico, the day after his seventh birthday. Mr. Reverón was twenty years old when he transferred from the University of Puerto Rico to the Berklee College of Music, located in Boston, MA, in 1974. He left college to pursue a career as a musician. Mr. Reverón returned to college in 1982 and obtained a Bachelor of Music degree, majoring in Film Scoring, from Berklee College of Music in 1984. He continued relocating between Boston, Puerto Rico and New York City, finally settling in New York in 1992.

Mr. Reverón spent most of his adult years as a musician, traveling and recording. He quit the road in 1996 and became a copyright administrator for J & N Records, then located on 42nd Street. He decided not to relocate to Miami with J & N and, instead, continued to work freelance as a music business consultant for slightly more than a year before taking a position as a court interpreter in Bronx Criminal Court.

Mr. Reverón attended Brooklyn Law School at night while working full time in Criminal Court. His position as court interpreter was transferred to Bronx Supreme Court pursuant to the merger of both courts in November of 2004.

Mr. Reverón obtained his J.D. in 2005.

He was admitted to the practice of law in the states of New York (2006) and New Jersey (2007), as well as the Federal District Courts for the District of New Jersey (2007) and the District of Puerto Rico (2008). Admitted to the Supreme Court of the United States on June 21, 2010.
