Ms. Vallejo, as a Henry Rutgers Scholar, received an undergraduate dual degree with honors in Political Science and Spanish from Rutgers University in 1999. In 2004 she graduated from Seton Hall School of Law where as a law student she represented clients in the Family Law Clinic and Housing Clinics through the auspices of the Seton Hall Law Center for Social Justice. Immidiately following graduation, she served as a law clerk to The Honorable Thomas P. Zampino, judge of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Family Division, Essex County, for the calendar year 2004-2005.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Vallejo was associated with a firm located in Morristown, New Jersey for approximately 6 years handling matrimonial and real estate matters. Ms. Vallejo also served as a volunteer attorney for the Jersey Battered Women's Shelter through its legal advocacy program where she represented clients in numerous domestic violence proceedings.
Ms. Vallejo is a member of the American Bar Association and the New Jersey State Bar Association. She is fluent in Spanish and conversational in Portuguese.
