General Contractor

One who contracts for the construction of an entire building or project, rather than for a portion of the work.

Grantor

The creator of a trust.

Guarantee

One to whom a guaranty is made. As a noun this word is used to denote the contract of guaranty or the obligation of of a guarantor, and, as a verb, to denote the action of assuming the responsibilities of a guarantor.

Guardian

A person lawfully invested with the power, and charged with the duty, of taking care of the person and managing the property and rights of another person, who, for defect of age, understanding, or self-control is considered incapable of administering his or her own affairs. One who is responsible, by law, for the care and management of the person, or the estate, or both, of a child during his or her minority.
